*****
I wanted a gift that would turn math into play…

My two nephews are fascinated by numbers and math! Definitely didn’t get those skills from me because, honestly, I was never great at it. Anyway, I really wanted to find something fun we could do together. That’s when we found this game! Now they’re building logic and math all through play, while I’m still wrestling with my old math struggles… but hey, at least it’s more fun now! Haha!

The Rules:

  1. Place the board on a flat surface with all tiles (1–10) facing up

  2. Flip down all the numbers by matching your dice rolls

  3. Roll two dice, total the numbers, and flip down one or more tiles that add up to that sum.

  4. If you roll 5 + 3 = 8, you can flip down 8 or 7+1, 6+2, 5+3, etc.

  5. The game ends when no tiles can be flipped. The player with the fewest tiles left wins!

Age-friendly tips

  • Ages 3–5: Use one dice and flip just one tile per turn

  • Ages 6–8: Use two dice and explore basic addition with number combos

  • Ages 9+: Add subtraction, multiplication, or bonus rolls for extra challenge

Owen R. ★★★★★

The felt lining keeps the dice from bouncing off the table, which honestly saves me a lot of crawling under the couch. My daughter likes rolling all 8 at once and knocking down the wooden pegs, and it's held up fine after a few weeks of daily use.

Aurora ★★★★★

My 4-year-old actually sits still for this one, which says a lot. The felt lining keeps the dice quiet when they hit the board, so it doesn't turn into a noisy mess on our hardwood floors. Eight dice means we can play the number matching game together instead of taking turns.

Natalie D. ★★★★★

The wooden board has a nice weight to it and the felt lining keeps the dice from sliding around during play. My four-year-old figured out the knocking game in about two minutes and now asks for it every afternoon.
